The Progress | Fillmore district
The Progress is one of those special restaurants you must experience when in San Francisco. Everything is shared family style, and guests place their desired items on cards which are then handed back for completion. All four courses are exceptionally plated and served with intention. Be sure to select the Japanese tomato + avocado salad and the local steamed black cod. These are just two of my personal favorites, but you really can't go wrong. Pro tip: save room for dessert.

This seasonally driven, carefully curated menu makes for a truly one of a kind experience. Order pre-fixe or a la carte. The ambiance is equally as charming as the food. Cozy and romantic, intended to feel like home. It does. Accommodating to all palates and dietary needs. You're in luck if the creme brûlée is on rotation.
Nourish Cafe | Richmond District + Nob Hill
Don't leave San Francisco without stopping by Nourish Cafe. This plant-based cafe is worthy of every praise. Grab-and-go, or stay for a while. I make a custom veggie wrap and add falafel. If I were to create my dream menu (including baked goods) this would be it.
Pica Pica | Mission District
No frills, just good food. This is my go-to for healthy comfort food when in SF. 100% Gluten Free without compromising on flavor. I get the vegetarian arepa (you must get an arepa) and the vegetarian nachos. A double win.
Bellota has become an essential SF foodie destination. Grab a drink at the bar, or book a table for the full experience. Their menu offers an eclectic mix of food and drinks from varied regions in Spain. Order a few shared tapas and a paella for the table.
