MOTHER'S DAY IN LA
Last week was Mother's Day and I was so happy to spend it in LA with my mom.
Mom very rarely visits my city, so when she does, it's a rare occasion and I feel the need to pull out all of the stops. It took weeks of planning, but we truly had the perfect weekend together. Here are a few highlights from our visit, and things I think would make any weekend with mom feel like Mother's Day weekend...
My mom is a huge fan of Pilates back home and has been trying to get me to try it for months. As an avid yogi, I was a little hesitant but after trying these two amazing studios in town, I must admit I'm obsessed. Two of my new favorite classes in LA are at Pilates Platinum and Claudia Martin Studio. These two classes seriously kicked my butt. Definitely made ordering three desserts at Catch an easy decision.

MELROSE TRADING POST
My mom loves vintage shopping and lately I've been checking out tons of local markets as well. A couple of my favorites include The Mart Collective in Venice and The Melrose Trading Post in West Hollywood. We hit the trading post on Sunday morning to do a little treasure hunting and found some amazing vintage pieces to add to my growing collection.
MALIBU FARM CAFE
If you follow me on social media, you already know I am obsessed with Malibu Farm Cafe. It's located right off the Malibu Pier and is the perfect Sunday spot. I always order the grilled veggie sandwich (on gluten free bread) and my mom got the most delicious chopped salad. We grabbed the best seat in the house and shared stories over white wine and yummy food. Nothing better.
